Chances of SEPA payment transactions
In the SEPA payment area, payments are processed according to a standardized procedure. Both the SEPA credit transfer and the SEPA direct debit help to ensure that there are no longer any significant differences between domestic and cross-border payments. This makes payment transactions within the SEPA countries easier and faster.
In the SEPA system, the traditional bank account number is replaced by the IBAN, the so-called International Bank Account Number. The IBAN can be calculated from the sort code and the account number.
Digital and automated processing of SEPA payments
The SEPA scheme offers many possibilities for a pan-European digital settlement process with a software solution like SEPA-Transfer.
As a focused banking tool, SEPA-Transfer can store IBANs in transfer templates and import payment data from various data sources such as Excel or read it in from a database. Organize SEPA mandates and retrieve them for recurring payments with just a few clicks. Thanks to SEPA's standardized procedures, collective transfers or collective direct debits are also possible - even scheduled on a specific date.
