Installed as Windows Service Application
SpamAssassin in a Box is installed as a Windows service. The service controls the SpamAssassin daemon 'SpamD' and ensures the daemon is able to run reliably and does not use very much memory. Besides, it periodically updates the SpamAssassin anti-spam rules.
Support for Windows Event Log
SpamAssassin in a Box logs relevant events to the Windows Event Log. This way, you can get the latest update information for anti-spam rules, restart cycles or error messages.
Detailed Spam History
SpamAssassin in a Box logs the results of the spam analyses to a separate log file. The log file contains extensive information about date, performance or result of the individual spam tests.
